Joe is a puppeteer and puppet maker from Southend ​who started his journey into his fascinating interest in puppetry when he was just 4 years old. He started his journey into"puppethood" when he first experienced a Punch and Judy show in a local park. The effect it had on him was immense and end up shaping his life for good. Although his first fascination was Punch And Judy, Joe was always trying to explore his interest further by trying out new forms of puppetry to see what else sticks. He experimented with puppetry forms such as marionettes, shadow puppetry, tabletop puppetry and much more. However, out of the blue, he discovered his talent for the building and construction of puppets and he discovered this in the most natural and organic way. As a young 15-year-old with little money to hand to purchase new puppets, he decided to have a shot at making his own. Despite the fact that the first few attempts were somewhat amateur, he persevered and refined his skills to a point where he was gaining attention from other puppeteers to build professional puppets on a commission style basis. This is and will remain to be Joe's ambition for a future career as a puppeteer.
